Since 2005
A legacy measured in trust, not just years
It began with one kitchen, one family, and a stubborn belief: that vegetarian food should never feel like a compromise. It should be generous, honest, and cooked with the patience the dish deserves.
For 21 years, Pune answered back — at weddings and quiet weeknights, at festival tables and office lunches. The name became a kind of shorthand for enough, and then some.
Spices roasted and ground by hand. Recipes kept exactly as they were taught. Portions that earned the word above the door. And a kitchen that has not once, since 2005, stopped being 100% vegetarian.
Vegetarian food should never feel like a compromise.

Non-negotiable
Four things we never compromise
Every one of these has cost us an order at some point. None of them has ever been up for discussion.
Purity
100% vegetarian — a principle, not a menu category. No shared surfaces, no exceptions, no asterisks.
Satvik
Light, fresh, made the morning it is served. Food that honours the body as much as the palate, including a full no-onion-no-garlic menu.
Family
Recipes handed down, served the way we would serve our own table. Hospitality is the dish behind every dish.
Authenticity
Hand-ground masalas, slow methods, no shortcuts. The long way is the only way we know.
The long way round
21 years, one unbroken thread
No relaunch, no reinvention, no change of mind about what we cook.
2005
One kitchen, one promise
A single pure-vegetarian kitchen opens in Pune. The rule from day one: generous portions, honest spice, nothing cut short.
2012
A name people trusted
Word travels faster than advertising. Quantity Kitchens becomes a Pune household name — the place families return to.
2018
Feeding the big days
Wedding and corporate catering becomes a signature. Thousands of plates at a time, the purity never wavering.
2024
Two decades deep
Twenty years in, the brand stands for something rare: consistency. The misal tastes the same as it did in 2005.
Today
Across Pune & PCMC
Vegetarian Maharashtrian and North Indian cooking for families and celebrations, from ten guests to a thousand.
How we actually work
Catering built around the only number that matters
Most catering goes wrong in the same place: the headcount. Someone estimates, the kitchen guesses, and either the last table gets cold leftovers or half the food goes home in containers. We are built the other way around — you tell us how many guests, we price per guest, and the kitchen cooks to that number. Ten people or a thousand, the arithmetic is the same and it is visible to you before you pay.
What we cater
Birthdays, house parties, kitty parties, corporate lunches, town halls and wedding functions across Pune City and PCMC. Menus span Maharashtrian, Punjabi, Indo-Chinese, Thai, Italian, Hyderabadi, available as chef-curated pre-set spreads or assembled course by course through Make Your Own Meal.
How service works
Choose delivery-only and food arrives packed in serving trays. Choose buffet service and we set the counter up at your venue, run it through the event, and leave the space as we found it.
Hygiene is not a marketing line
Preparation happens in an FSSAI-compliant kitchen with temperature control maintained from prep through transport to the counter. Every dish on the menu declares its allergens before you add it to an order.
Tell us the date and the headcount
Pick a menu, adjust it however you like, and send it over. We quote per guest, in writing, before anything is committed.
